The Story
Dating to circa 1880s-1900, this unusual 14 karat yellow gold ring is filled to the brim with antique cut rubies. Twenty-five chunky old cuts fill the elongated shape creating a cobblestone effect. Slightly different in color, the combination of the reds and pinks set against the rich yellow gold is striking. The back of the settings are open allowing light to shine through and make the colors pop.
This is one of the only navette rings we've ever seen exclusively made with rubies. Most are all diamond or have an accent stone, but not usually all in one colored stone, making this piece an extra special find.
The long navette shape ring takes up great real estate on your finger at 1.81 inches in length. We think it would make an incredible engagement ring as well as a stunning right-hand ring.
