Impeccably sourced, rare vintage jewelry
victorian lion's head 14k gold and garnet locket
The Story
A striking and fierce antique piece from the Victorian era. Created from rich 14 karat yellow gold, a raised lion's head is the main feature of this round locket. Formed with lots of expression, two small garnets are set as the eyes with an additional garnet set within the lion's mouth. The locket shows its age in the best possible way with the rich patina making the raised work pop and gold glow.
At 1.34" tall with its bale and 1.17" round, it's a substantial size. It holds two 1" round photos and is a gorgeous piece to hold your loved ones near.
The locket hangs on a new 18-inch 14K yellow gold F&B chain.
