Antique jewelry for the modern world
victorian 15k gold chain necklace with hand clasp
An antique Victorian chain, from the mid-to-late 1800s, made in 15 karat yellow gold. The chain alternates between fancy bar links and classic round links. The bar links are open with floral or star openings with a polished finish. The round links are highly ornate with beautiful detailing. The necklace ends with a hand clasp complete with a bezel set emerald ring.
The look and feel of the gold is rich and luxurious. The craftsmanship of the piece is amazing, all handmade during the Victorian era. The necklace measures almost 31 inches in length, an extra special find as chains this long are getting increasingly rare.
This chain necklace lends itself to reinvention, you'll find yourself wearing it year-after-year, in new ways. It looks great on its own or worn layered with other chains and necklaces.
