retro gold sunburst earrings with sapphires and diamonds
The Story
An awesome pair of Retro gold sunburst earrings in 14 karat yellow gold from circa 1930s - early 1940s. These bold earrings feature 12 gold bars representing sun rays, that alternate in a smooth and woven gold texture. The gold bars encircle the gold center area where a shiny prong set diamond is set. The smooth "sun rays" feature a small round, prong-set sapphire, 12 in total.
Originally found with screw backs, we replaced them with more comfortable posts. These large scale, easy to wear studs are a fantastic day to night look!
