The Story

From circa 1850s-1880s, this Victorian five-stone band is an antique treasure. It features three diamonds set at center which pre-date the construction of the ring and are believed to have been cut in the 1700s. The three antique table cut diamonds weigh approximately 0.12, 0.15, and 0.12 carats respectively for a total of approximately 0.41 carats. On either side of the diamonds, a single pearl is set to finish the band.

Crafted in 18 karat yellow gold, the ring has fantastic patina that complements the diamonds. The backs of the diamond settings are open allowing light to pour through the stones. The bands edged design creates a beautiful line from front to back.

A very old and delicate ring, it should be worn and loved with extra care.

Very good antique condition- wear consistent with age and use. One diamond has a small chip that can be seen using a loupe with x10 magnification. A very delicate ring that needs to be worn and stored with caution and care. With the diamonds being so old and rare, they would be extremely difficult to replace if a diamond fell out. This is not an everyday ring to wear but one worn and loved with care.
