Impeccably sourced, rare vintage jewelry
plique-a-jour enamel and 18k gold star of david charm
A gorgeous vintage charm, made from warm 18 karat yellow gold, showing a colorful Star of David. Bright and beautiful red, green, and blue Plique-à-jour enamel is masterfully inlayed throughout and is in amazing condition.
Plique-à-jour, meaning letting in daylight in French, is an enameling technique done with no backing which allows light to shine through. It's extremely hard to make, but the final product resembles stained glass.
A gorgeous piece to love and treasure for years to come.
