heart shaped ruby, diamond, and 14k gold locket
The Story
Love and luck come together in this sweet antique piece. Made during the late 1800s to early 1900s, this heart-shaped locket is done in 14 karat gold. It features 3 small old cut stones, two rubies and one rose cut diamond all set within a three leaf clover.
We believe this locket was white gold or rhodium plated over its 14k Victorian gold construction at some point in its long life. The plating seems thick and very well done. We advise not wearing it in water, spraying perfumes, or using lotions on it. The white plating should last a very long time as it already has.
Measuring 0.83 inches tall with its bale, it's a great size for everyday wear. The locket opens to accommodates 2 photos of your choice. Simple and perfect, it's a sweet love token you'll never want to take off. It looks great on its own or stack with your other favorite pieces.
Locket and chain are sold separately. This locket can be purchased without a chain or with an 18-inch 14K gold chain.
