The Story
A spectacular ring made during the early to mid 20th century featuring a glowing emerald at center. Weighing 3.06 carats (per GIA certificate), the octagonal step cut Columbian stone has the most lovely saturated bright green color. Set in 18 karat yellow gold, the warmth of the 4-prong setting compliments the stone perfectly.
The octagonal shaped ring features two rows of Old European cut diamonds coming from the center. The exterior sees 24 diamonds weighing 0.05 carats each with the interior row seeing 16 diamonds weighing 0.03 carat diamonds each. The total diamond weight of 2.5 carats is set in platinum complete with milligrain. Finishing the band are engraved details throughout.
Measuring 0.8 inches tall and wide, the ring has a big, bold look and feel. It's the perfect statement piece.
