early 20th century octagonal rudy, diamond, and 18k gold locket
The Story
An antique locket from the early 20th century done in rich 18 karat yellow gold. This striking piece features six square cut rubies moving around the exterior. A center is a lovely Old European Cut diamond weighing approximately 0.20 carats. All set flush around the surrounding gold, the Bloom finish gives the locket an extra special pop. The stone colors and warm gold makes a classic combination.
The back of the locket shows a beautiful and ornate hand engraving. Measuring 1.54 inches tall with its bale, it slides open to hold two nicely sized photos.
