Impeccably sourced, rare vintage jewelry
victorian moss agate and diamond 14k gold navette ring
The Story
From circa 1880s-1900, this Victorian navette shaped diamond ring feels so fresh, it's hard to believe it was made so long ago!
Twenty-four Old Mine Cut diamonds surround a magical piece of moss agate. Each diamond, approximately 0.03 carats, is set in 14 karat yellow gold, for a total diamond weight of approximately 0.72 carats. Moss Agate, a type of chalcedony with dark inclusions that resemble moss, sits at center and measures 19mm tall x 5.25mm wide.
The base of the chalcedony has a beautiful, translucent quality while the inclusions are strikingly dramatic.
We love the long, lean shape of a navette, and this unique example is a rare find. A stunning ring, this piece is a show stopper!
