The Story
This gorgeous antique locket is a treasured find. The 14k yellow gold locket is covered in black guilloche enamel and centers around lovely pearl at center. A rim of white enamel circles the exterior. The back is hand engraved "A.L.B" in a chic sans serif font.
Guilloche is a type of decorative metal work done by creating detailed and precise patterns. In jewelry and decorative arts, it's usually finished with enamel on top making the "engine turning" patterns pop.
It measures 1.16 inches tall with bale and is in great condition, especially for its age. It hangs on a new F&B 18 inch 14k yellow gold link chain, hitting the perfect spot on your chest. A unique and beautiful piece, you'll treasure it forever.
