The Story

Light and dark come together in these gorgeous Victorian dangle earrings.

From circa the 1860s - 1870s, these antique earrings feel as fresh today as ever!  Done in textured, rich 10 karat yellow gold, they are accented by black enamel at the top creating an eternal buckle design and at the bottom, a tri-leaf design.  This black enameling is called Taille d'epargné, meaning the "saving cut", and was popular from the 1850s-1880s.  The metal was engraved and then filled with black enamel, giving them their striking look.

The drops finish with a hooked kidney wire for safe and carefree wearing.

They have great movement when worn and look fantastic dressed up or down!
