The Story

A lovely Victorian era hand charm made circa 1880s to 1900.  Done in realistic detail, it depicts a hand made from solid 10 karat gold.  Textured on the interior and smooth on the back, it holds a baroque pearl in its palm.  It even finishes with a period perfect cuff for extra realistic detailing.

Victorians loved to depict human hands in a variety of decorative arts including jewelry. They believed that hands held many meanings; their depiction symbolizing everything from affection to warning signs.

The charm measures about 1.56 inches tall with bale by 0.33 inches at its widest point. A great piece to add to your charm bracelet, wear as a necklace, earring, or stacked with your favorites.

How do you want to wear your new charm? Choose a 16” or 18” chain, a hoop earring, or just the charm itself.
