Impeccably sourced, rare vintage jewelry
marsh & co. blackened steel, diamond, and pearl clip earrings
The Story
A striking pair earrings by the renowned jewelry firm, Marsh & Co. Made circa 1930s, the white gold and diamond sections, along with the creamy pearls are Art Deco in style. The pair has 6 full cut diamonds, each 0.03 carats, for a total diamond weight approximately 0.18 carats
The hanging pearls measure 7.3 and 7.4 mm each and move with the wearer. The sparkling Art Deco pieces with the blackened steel create a stunning combination of materials. The blackened steel was made specifically to accommodate the elements.
The clip earrings have spring tension and sit on the ear wherever the wearer would like. They measure 0.85 inches tall and have a great presence. While almost 100 years old, they have a chic, edgy feel.
Unsigned, which is typical for Marsh & Co., the style is distinctive. Influenced by Japanese culture, art, and design, Marsh pieces from this era are extremely collectible and sought after.
