Antique jewelry for the modern world
lucien picard garnet and pearl 14k gold bracelet
Made made the American jewelry and watch maker, Lucien Picard, this beautiful bracelet, made circa 1940s-1960s, is a colorful find. The center consists of a flower made from a half pearl 11 mm round, and eight oval garnets that emit the most lovely glow. All prong set, the garnets have open backs allowing light to pour through and highlight their pinkish-purple hue. On either side is a bypass of 14k yellow gold with a prong set pearl on the end of each.
The flexible design opens to form to the size of the wrist. The interior has one of the best makers marks we've seen.
We love this piece worn on its own for a colorful jewelry staple or stacked with your favorite bracelets.
