The Story

A spectacular and impressive Art Deco piece made circa 1920s-1930s. Done in platinum, the piece is filled with antique cut stones. Masterfully made, 51 rose cut diamonds are set throughout the dress clip. Three bezel set old mine cut diamonds each weighing 0.15 carats are seen at the widest part of the piece. An additional 17 old mine cut diamonds, ranging in size from 0.05 to 0.12 carats give the pin a total diamond weight of approximately 1.39 carats, without including the rose cuts.

Colorful accents of old cut rubies and emeralds give the clip an amazing pop of color. The sugarloaf cabochon emerald at the tip of the piece looks and feels like a piece of candy.

This delicate but substantial dress clip is a great example of the power of platinum. The strong metal has the ability to have delicate and detailed elements like the pierced work and millegrain. The stylized geometric design is quintessentially Art Deco. Measuring 1.28 inches tall, it's a fantastic heirloom piece to add to any look or to wear as a chic hair accessory.

Great antique condition- wear consistent with age and use. One emerald has a small chip, however, we do not feel it detracts from the overall beauty or durability of the piece.
