french victorian ruby and pearl 18k gold locket
The Story
Beautiful and substantial, this Victorian is an antique treasure. French made and large in scale, it's done in warm 18 karat yellow gold.
On the front is an applied eight-pointed form with a pearl set at the tip of each. At center is a juicy old cut ruby giving the locket a colorful and bright focal point. Surrounding the center is a braided oval adding great texture and dimension.
The reverse has a simple gold design with horizontal lines going across. It opens to hold one photo to keep your loved ones close. Measuring 1.80 inches tall with its tapered bale and 1.28 inches wide, it's a substantial piece.
