victorian old mine cut diamond and 18k gold solitaire ring

The Story

A lovely antique ring, made circa 1870s, featuring an Old Mine Cut diamond. Weighing approximately 0.40 carats and sitting in a 6-prong setting, the diamond radiates sparkle. All done in 18 karat rosy-yellow gold, the engraved band is complete with beautiful detailing on each side. The fit of the ring is done in a band style while the center diamond sits perfectly between the two sections.

This timeless solitaire diamond ring is a steadfast favorite and would make a fantastic engagement ring. A romantic detail inside the band reads "Rob to Em Feb. 14th 1879" in hand engraved script.
