Antique jewelry for the modern world
french black enamel, diamond, and 18k gold cross pendant
Made in France in the mid-to-late 1800s, this striking antique cross is made from warm 18k yellow gold. Black enamel is seen throughout the front of the piece. Seven old rose cut diamonds range from 1.45 to 1.75 mm each and are set in silver. Throughout are gold accents which add a lovely pop against the black enamel.
The large cross hangs from a square bale and moves beautifully. Measuring 1.7 inches in height and complete with French hallmarks, it's a truly striking piece.
