Antique jewelry for the modern world
victorian rose cut diamond, 18k gold, and painted enamel locket
A stunning antique locket done in rich 18 karat yellow gold. Made during the Victorian era, circa 1880s-1890s, this gorgeous piece features an incredible scene. A detailed painting in miniature, a colorful, costumed figure is done in great detail.
The painting style is ornate yet delicate. Set around the oval painting are 30 rose cut diamonds accented on the exterior by black enamel scalloping. The reverse of the locket is plain and simple.
Measuring 1.93 inches tall, it's a substantial size. It holds two nicely sized photos, perfect for keeping your loved ones close.
A gorgeous and rare antique piece to treasure for generations to come.
The locket comes without a chain so you can add it to your favorite necklace. Also available for purchase with the 18 inch 14k yellow gold chain seen here.
