The Story
A fun and flirty pair of earrings from the Victorian era that feel as fresh and modern as ever!
Done in 14 karat rosy-yellow gold, they are accented by an all-over black enamel design. Called Taille d'epargné, meaning the "saving cut", the metal was engraved and then filled with black enamel, giving them their striking look. This technique was popular from the 1850s-1880s. These antique earrings, from circa 1870s - 1890s, feel as fresh today as ever.
We love their movement and open design. At 2.2" in length, they have a bold and substantial look while being light and easy to wear. They look great dressed up with a classic LBD or dressed down with a chic turtleneck and jeans.
