The Story
Made from 18 karat yellow gold, these antique amethyst earrings have a striking color combination. At center is a faceted amethyst measuring 9 mm round. Surrounding it are smooth and roped gold circles. The stone settings are open backed allowing light to pour through making the purple stones glow.
The simplicity of wire hooks at top (which were added at a later date) give movement to the earrings when worn. They're easy to wear and go from day to night in a flash.
