The Story
A deep and richly colored synthetic blue sapphire sits front and center in this Art Deco ring. Made from period perfect platinum and set within 4 flat prongs, the large stone is the most beautiful color blue, weighing approximately 10.02 carats. It has super detailed engraving from its four prongs down the sides of the band, all with open back settings allowing light to flow through and make it glow. Accenting the ring are eight Old European cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 0.18 carats, adding the nicest sparkle to the piece.
From circa 1920s to the early 1940s, this ring is in fantastic condition. The synthetic sapphire makes the ring pop with color. A synthetic sapphire is a great alternative to a natural sapphire. Original to the ring, the color is deep, rich, and even throughout. It allows the ring to have a large stone at a much more approachable price point than if it were a natural stone.
It looks amazing when worn. We love it on its own or paired with other favorite pieces. It would make a fantastic and unique engagement ring.
